As part of your role, you will work collaboratively with our team of healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive approach to patient care. Working closely with physicians, therapists and support staff, you will ensure that our patients receive the highest quality of care:
- The process of obtaining a patient's temperature, blood pressure, and other vital statistics is crucial to establish their baseline health status for future reference
- Undertaking core patient care responsibilities, such as renewing dressings or administering catheters
- Vigilantly observing the patient's state of health, demeanor, and conduct, and reporting any irregularities to the relevant healthcare professional
- Showing empathy and attentiveness as a patient talks about their loved ones
- Adequately informing patients about the doctor-prescribed medical procedures, telling them what to expect, and addressing their apprehensions is a crucial element of providing patient care
- Patients are administered medication as per the doctor's advice
- Supplying people with shots to boost immunity
- Guiding and instructing CNA’s and NA’s to promote patient-centered care
Qualifications/Requirements:
- The Registered Nurse satisfies all necessary Federal and State licensure prerequisites and is in good standing
- Nurses must have a thorough understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology in order to competently assess, diagnose, and treat their patients
- Electronic medical records have helped to standardize healthcare practices and reduce variations in care, promoting the delivery of high-quality care to all patients. This has led to improved patient outcomes and better overall satisfaction with healthcare services
- A graduate from an approved educational institution in the field of licensed practical nursing
