Our healthcare facility relies on the expertise of RN Charge Nurses to perform a variety of tasks that contribute to the provision of exceptional patient care:
- Measuring a patient's temperature, blood pressure, and various essential statistics
- Undertaking primary duties related to patient care, such as bandage replacement and catheterization
- Closely monitoring the patient's well-being, temperament, and behavior and reporting any changes to the RN Unit Manager or the attending Physician
- Patient opens up about their relationships with family members
- Briefing patients on their healthcare, describing the procedures prescribed by their physicians, and addressing any reservations or concerns they may have
- Executing medication distribution as directed by physicians to patients
- As healthcare professionals, we must educate patients on the importance of immunizations and encourage them to get vaccinated
- Mentoring CNA’s and NA’s to help them provide outstanding care to our patients
Qualifications/Requirements:
- The nurse possesses all of the valid Federal and State licenses necessary to practice nursing and maintains a good standing
- Acquiring the skills necessary to perform basic operations such as blood pressure measurement and administering medication is critical for nurses
- Using digital records for patient history and trends allows for more personalized and effective care plans
- A licensed practical nurse who has finished an approved program and is authorized to provide bedside care to patients
